These systems use the same types of card and biometric readers as do the PMAC and Access Control systems. The “T&A” systems track and report employee starting and stopping times, break and lunch times, scheduling and approaching overtime and payroll systems’ interface. We install “local” T&A systems wherein we supply the hardware, software and system maintenance.
We also install “Hosted” systems where the software resides in a server farm off-site. The “hosted” systems lease the capabilities of the software to the client on a monthly basis. In either case, the systems track all employees on the system, apply the client’s rules to rounding, overtime and benefits, and report to managers and supervisors on an on-going basis. At the end of a payroll period, all reports are edited for omissions and corrections and finally transferred to the payroll system for paycheck printing.
