Übertas Controls LLC is a network of professional sales, installation and service people. We are here to educate our clients, help them make informed decisions and manage their projects efficiently. As importantly, we offer dedicated team members a platform where they can establish their own stable business without worrying about a corporate RIF or excuse to terminate them that suddenly leaves them out on the streets. Expanding our team, it’s critical that I communicate completely the reasons behind the formation of this company and what we offer to prospective clients and team members.
Over the course of my career, I’ve been fortunate to work with many extremely competent and professional individuals. Many have become close personal friends of mine. I’ve worked with hundreds of talented professionals. Many have been with their companies for 10, 20 and even 30 years. Unfortunately, many of these individuals are stuck in their jobs, victims of often-revised compensation policies and ultimately find themselves looking for other opportunities
Often, these people find that their career is at a dead end. The company they work for is simply too big. It’s full of mediocre managers who don’t understand that ‘elusive formula’ for customer satisfaction. They simply don’t listen to their customers. Many sales professionals, quality installers and terrific technicians are stuck in positions with no raises or promotions in sight. Company policies are made by committee and created to manage to the lowest common denominator. The company is not nimble; it seems it can’t get out of its own way at times. It might be profitable and successful, but that seems almost accidental. Many talented people are not fully utilized; their talent is wasted. I call this “Corporate America”.
The pivotal point in my career was the time many years ago that I spent working for a huge multinational integration company. During my tenure there, I became the company’s most successful and most profitable sales executive. My interaction with management was not always positive because I voiced my opinion that the company was ignoring the most important issue in business; ignoring the thing our customers valued most…… quick, efficient, consistent quality results! My frustrations with management grew until I finally left the company. It was then that I cemented my plan to create a company that took care of clients and gave talented, dedicated individuals a platform to manage a successful career.
Hundreds of competent, intelligent, hard-working, honest, capable people are out there now, designing, selling, installing and servicing systems. Couldn’t they make things better for their customers if management would simply listen and allow them to drive activity that the customer reasonably wants?
There is a genuine need in our marketplace to provide a lean, efficient, less top-heavy business model. Our industry can truly use a company that is nimble and quick to respond to each customer need. To be blunt, our industry is rife with non-productive management, committees to study the committees, multiple levels of approval, inexperienced executives and even teams of people who will not take individual responsibility for a customer’s satisfaction.
Our mission is simple: Take care of customers and provide them the service and support they deserve. Make our customers happy. Get their referrals. Bring qualified clients and associates into the fold. Expand our reach, grow business, and boost income!
